Our Mission
“Take care of the little things, and the big things will take care of themselves.”
— Coach Dan Allen —
The Dan Allen Foundation was founded for the purpose of growing the game of football, raising awareness to toxic chemicals and their potential exposures, and to have a positive impact on families who have faced similar hardships.
The foundation is established in the memory of Dan Allen, a former head football coach at Boston University and The College of the Holy Cross. The primary goals of the Foundation is to grow the game of football through education, youth camps, and financial support to youth and high school football programs. We also work to raise awareness of the hazards associated with toxic chemicals, and their risks of exposure that can possibly lead to the onset of ALS or other similar neurological disorders. Lastly, we want to help families who have faced similar hardships that the Allen family faced, with both physical and financial support.
